Weekday Sketchers at the Valentine Valerian House
Join us this week as we travel back in time to 1758 when farm houses lined the Boston Post Road.providing easy access to the markets in NYC and travel up to Boston. The Valentine Valeran house has been there all this time as witness to the changing landscape and growth the the city. What we see in the neighborhood today is a far cry from the time when the house was new. But lets let our imagination roam and capture what we see and what we imagine in our sketchbooks as we explore this corner of NYC history.
Thanks to Andrea Strongwater for making the arrangements for us to visit this historic site.
