Never heard of it, but it looks great. It’s in a gorgeous NYC Townhouse that faces the north side of the Guggenheim museum. Here is the Instagram video that got me excited:
Just in case: Since it's a new location, if there’s not enough to hold our interest we’ll walk across the street and drop in at the Guggenheim.
DETAILS
What: We’ll be sketching at Salon 94
Where: The Salon is located at 3 East 89th Street, which is the north side of the Guggenheim Museum. Admission is free.
When: The Salon opens at 11:00 AM. Note: Not our usual start time.
How:
- By Subway: Take the #6 to 86th Street.
Lunch: We’re not going to be taking a formal lunch. There are street vendors selling food and snacks and a walk to Lexington Avenue provides stores.
Afternoon: 1:00 sketching.
Show and Tell: 3:00 PM - Not clear yet where we can share our drawings and talk at the end of the day, Location will be determined on site.

- Bring a stool if you have one, it gives you more options.
