New Jersey sketchers at Turtleback Zoo

Join us for a day of sketching at Turtleback Zoo

There are indoor locations. If it’s a balmy day, we can venture outside. 

We will find a carousel with different animals than the typical carousel. At the reptile house, it will be warm! Watching over us will be a life size pterodactyl that ruled the skies of earth 150,000 million years ago. Through large glass panels we will see turtles, snakes, and lizards. The Penguin House and Essex Farm are also indoors, so there’s plenty to sketch.

The cafe is closed, so bring your lunch.
