SATURDAY: Sketch the Drawathon

 

The NYC High School of Art & Design 

Drawathon

It's the marathon of drawing - nine straight hours of life drawing to sharpen your skills.  One room has many models in fanciful costumes and there's another entire room (the gymnasium) offering more classical poses.  The Drawathon is also a meeting place where you're likely to see many of your art friends.  It brings out a tremendous number of NY based artists.

The event starts at 10 AM, our usual starting time, and it runs until 7 PM. Come when you like, stay as long as you like.  

It is less expensive to purchase your ticket online versus buying it at the door.

When:  SATURDAY, November 18, 2023.  Sketching starts at 10 AM and runs until 7 PM.  Come when you like, stay as long as you like.

Lunch:  You can leave and return to the event.  There are local food places.  The School also sells sandwiches and other food.  

Show and Tell:  There will be no Show and Tell

NOTE:

-   The School will provide a chair.  In the past I've brought my stool and used it as a table surface
