SATURDAY: Sketch the Rubin

If you attended our first Winter Talk, it will be no surprise that we will be visiting the Rubin Museum this coming Saturday, December 17, 2022.  We’ll be starting a little later than usual since the Rubin doesn’t open until 11 AM.

In case you are not aware, the Rubin Museum celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of Himalayan art, ideas, and culture across history.  It is one of the city’s cultural hubs and caters to a diverse audience from connoisseurs, scholars, the general public and, of course, urban sketchers.  I find the  beautiful exotic art very exciting.  I’ve noticed people’s sketches seem to take interesting unusual directions under the influence of their collection.
