Weekday Sketchers at Fort Tryon Park
Heather Garden |
Fort Tryon Park, home to the Met's Cloisters Museum, is a treasure trove of sketch able scenes even without its iconic landmark. The Heather Garden at the Margaret Corbin Gateway is always awash with seasonal flowers. The terraces and lawns that border the Heather Garden will offer river views framed by beautiful old trees. A short walk from the Heather Garden will offer views of the exterior of the Cloisters with its Gothic windows and tower.
