Weekday Sketcher at the Brooklyn Promenade and Brooklyn Heights
If you have never been to the Brooklyn Promenade you have been missing one of the best views of lower Manhattan, The Brooklyn Bridge, Governor's Island and the Statue of Liberty. The view from the East River provides a sight line to many iconic buildings and the waterfront piers and boats at South Street Seaport. Not enough for you? Wander the beautiful antique neighborhood behind the promenade with stately Brownstones, slate sidewalks and overarching trees.

STARTING TIME: 10:30 AM
LOCATION: THE BROOKLYN PROMENADE AT MONTAGUE STREET
TRANSPORTATION: N, R,W Train to Court Street, 2, 3 to Clark Street 4, 5 to Brough Hall. Exit the stations and walk west to the river.
NOTES
- There is seating along the Promenade but you might want to have a stool for sketching in the neighborhood
- There are bathrooms available
- Bring lunch or purchase food at the many markets and restaurants in the neighborhood.
