Join Virtual New York City Urban Sketchers in another thrilling sketching voyage to one of the world's premiere archeological sites and a designated World Heritage Site: Mesa Verde National State Park.
The grounds of Mesa Verde (Spanish for "Green Table") contain 5,000 sites, including 600 cliff dwellings, which makes it by far the largest archaeological preserve in America, thus a fascinating subject for artists and urban sketchers.
Mesa Verde was inhabited by the Ancestral Pueblo peoples who made this part of the country their home for over 700 years.
