Weekday Sketchers at Brookfield Place for Canstruction Tuesday
Have you ever seen superheroes, rainbows and rocket ships made out of cans of food? If not, this is your opportunity to see NYC's entry into one of the most unique charitable contests. Sponsored by City Harvest, this annual design competition challenges teams of architects, engineers and contractors to build sculptures made entirely out of unopened cans of food which are completely self supported. When the displays are taken down all the food is donated to local food pantries.
