What is more New York than Coney Island?
We've got ocean. We've got sand. We've got rides, and families, sunbathers, swimmers, vendors, food, ice cream, hot dogs, cotton candy, frisbee players, picnickers, sea gulls trying to steal food from the picnics, artwork, murals, freakshows, and airplanes dragging long advertising banners.
If you're a sketcher trying to capture a little of the world around us, ... what's not to like?
Caution: Although it appears we'll have a great day for our Coney Island sketch, but we'll be watching the weather. We'll post any changes to our Sunday plans to our blog, our Facebook Group and in an email blast.
