Weekday Sketchers at Cadman Plaza Wednesday
Join us on Wednesday as we travel to Brooklyn Heights to sketch at Cadman Plaza. Named for Dr. Samuel Parkes Cadman, a renowned minister in the Congregational Church this expanse of parkland in bordering Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn is home to the War Memorial built by Robert Moses. With its expansive green lawns, shaded paths and two massive monuments, we will have plenty to capture in our sketchbooks. Want something a bit more challenging? Try capturing the Romanesque style post office at the edge of the plaza.
