The NYC Urban Sketchers are invited up to the mainland (Boogie-Down Bronx), to Van Cortlandt Park for World-Wide SketchCrawl #59 on April 21, 2018. The park has plenty of scenery, the historic Van Cortlandt Mansion Museum (George Washington DID sleep there!), a golf course, athletic fields of various sorts, a lake, stream, several nature trails, the works!
Public transportation: take the IRT #1 train to the last stop, 242nd Street - FYI that's about a 50 minute train ride from Times Square. If driving, there is usually space in the free parking lot. Meet at 10AM.
