Wednesday September 16 - in the evening:

New York Urban Sketchers is one of several groups that have been invited to participate.  We'll be sketching, while other groups are singing, playing music and dancing.

The Museum houses equipment from the last hundred years of NYC's transit history.  They have old train cars, and buses.  They have a history of the turnstyles we've used, showing the design and technical progress we made in each decade.  You'll discover all samll and large equipment that has been used to make the trains and buses run.  Everywhere you look there something worth sketching, and this time, because of the party they're hosting, there will be interesting people to sketch.

As Urban Sketchers we're trying to capture the spirit of our times and the world around us.  Seeing these artifacts helped me to understand just how fleeting everything is. Draw it all
quickly before it's gone and replaced my the next new thing.

You're admission is free -  but I need to give them you're names in advance.  If you want to join us click this link to send me an email.  Bring a friend if you like.
