I was not able to join the group yesterday for one of my favorite spots to draw in NY. Last year I drew the Intrepid as my submission to a show illustrating New York City Landmarks. It is overwhelming to me to draw this ship- not only literally, but also because of the significance of her journey and service. It is an enigma every time I go-
it might depend on the time of year, or what I am thinking about on the day that I draw.
But every time, she whispers of stories and people that we owe a great debt of gratitude to.
