SUNDAY - Sketch the Transit Museum

Sunday January 11, 2015 - The New York Transit Museum

..... Event planned by Laura Rosen

Like Stepping into a NYC Time Machine

If  you're a native New Yorker this could be like stepping into a time machine.  For everyone else it will be like being on a movie set.  This is a NYC Hidden Gem.  The entrance to the museum (see photo) looks like any normal subway entrance.

The Way In Looks Just Like a Subway Entrance

The Transit Museum is housed in a historic 1936 IND subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.  You can find the entrance at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street. The subway entrance stairs lead down to the mezzanine and platform.
