NO WEEKDAY SKETCHERS THIS WEEK
This week because of the workshop with artist and sketcher Don Colley there will be NO weekday sketchers group meeting. There is still room for a few people to register for the session which will be a whole day of sketching both indoors and out with Don Colley. We're going to be meeting Don Colley at 10 AM - this coming Thursday, October 16th in NYC. We have studio space reserved for us at:

The plan is that we will be indoors at the Pearl Studio with Don from 10 AM until 1 PM. We are then going to get some lunch.
From 2 PM until 3:30 PM we will be sketching in the streets at a location that will be announced (leaving flexibility for the weather). The last half hour will be aShow and Tell with Don, where we will share work and our thoughts and reactions.
Faber-Castell is providing some art supply samples and promotional materials. The samples include a couple of the markers for everyone - like the ones Don uses in his work. However you should definitely bring your own art supplies.
I'm excited about this event and am looking forward to seeing you and meeting Don.
