If I may add a comment as an urban planner: some of you expressed concerns about conflicts between pedestrians and bicyclists on the narrow walkway/ bike path. I also felt that pedestrian safety and comfort on the bridge should be improved. I encourage you to submit your comments on the Department of Transportation's interactive map. Just zoom to the desired location and write your comments. By the way this also works for other transportation safety concerns at other locations. Thanks for your contribution!
